Blueberry and Banana Porridge

I have been trying out different photo editing apps and websites. I think I went overboard with this one but it wasn't the best of photos to begin with.

My latest craze. 
Every morning I have been making different flavoured porridge.
Cinnamon, peach, banana, blueberry, raisin, maca, vanilla protein, etc... Sometimes I get a bit excited and put all of them in... What can I say I'm slightly obsessed. 
Oh and I almost forgot, LIQUID HONEY. Whoever created it is a life saver, not only is it healthy and comes with a lot of health benefits but it tastes good and you can add it to almost anything you want to sweeten up.

Putting honey on your breakfast porridge will give you energy to kick start the day. It is a great sweetener in hot cocoa or even your morning coffee. Also if you come down with a cold or flu hot lemon and honey is the cure!



It is so easy to make and if you are short of time in the mornings (or just like that extra few minutes of sleep) then you can prepare it the night before.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup of oats 
  • 1/4 cup quinoa ( or another 1/4 cup of oats)
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup of water or milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp liquid honey
  • 1/4 tsp ginger
  • 1 small banana
  • Approximately 8 blueberries
  • 10 goji berries

Before banana and the goji berries are added, heat in the microwave for 1 minute.
