The other day I had a random food craving. Porridge.
Whenever I have had porridge is the past I have always taken one bite and wondered why I wanted it in the first place, it was disgusting!
So when I had this craving I asked mum what would make the porridge nicer. She said "Dates".
That night I made up a bowl to soak over night so I could have it for breakfast in the morning.
I grabbed in out the fridge and heated it in the microwave for just under a minute.
Then added the banana, cinnamon and syrup.
It was goooooood!
1/4 cup rolled oats
4 dates
1/4-1/2 cup milk approximately depending on how moist you prefer the porridge.
1/2 banana
sprinkle cinnamon
golden syrup or maple, whichever you prefer
So for all of you like me that did NOT like porridge I think you will like this! :)
