Affogato

This is my own spin off the usual Affogato recipes. 

On valentines morning I decided to have a decadent breakfast (something with chocolate in it) and so when I hoped on Pinterest the first thing I saw was.... an Affogato. So as usual I made my cup of coffee, poured it into a glass bowl and added ice cream, easy as that.

The one I made is dairy free and is GF as well.
But if you prefer to have the 'proper' one you just substitute the ice cream for non dairy-free ice cream and use normal milk.


2 scoops of Ice cream of your choice, I have 1 scoop of Vanilla Bean 'Nice Cream' and 1 scoop of Chocolate 'So Good'. 
3/4 cup of boiling hot water- 1-2 teaspoons of coffee, depending on how strong you like it, I find 1 is good for the flavouring with ice cream. 
1 Tbspn coconut sugar.

1. Dissolve coffee granulates in hot water.
2. Put 2 scoops of chosen ice cream into a small bowl or mug.
3. Pour cup of coffee over top
Easy as pie! 

Optional:

Chocolate Chips
Chocolate Sauce
Caramel or Vanilla flavouring syrup
1 teaspoon of Cocoa or Drinking Chocolate powder
