With all the new foods that have been created it has become easier for people with these allergies to find alternatives.
Coconut Oil is becoming more and more common everyday. Not only is it a dairy free alternative to butter, it is also a much healthy choice too. Along with coconut oil there is also; coconut butter, nut butters (almond and cashew), olive margarines etc.
I use wholemeal flour instead of plain white flour, however this can be quite a frustrating alternative as the grains do not sift and the flour is great dense. This is great for scones, muffins and breads but when you want those delicate, fluffy cupcakes its just not the same. Coconut, Almond, and Quinoa flour are just a couple of some great gluten-free flour substitutes. These flours work just as well and are also packed with great health benefits.

Heres a picture of the coconut oil I use. Yes it may be a couple more dollars but in the long run it is definitely worth it!
